The HPE Aruba S0U62A Networking CX 5420 Switch Series is an intelligent, flexible, and modular Layer 3 switch chassis designed to meet the needs of today's enterprise networks, such as small and medium enterprise campuses and branch office enterprise networks. It integrates MACsec hardware capability, analytics, and automation features. The CX 5420 Switch Series is part of the CX Switch Series that delivers an easy-to-deploy, simple, secure, and resilient enterprise access layer solution. By combining a modern, fully programmable operating system with the HPE Aruba Networking Network Analytics Engine (NAE), the CX 5420 Switch delivers industry-leading monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities across the entire network. A powerful Gen7 ASIC architecture provides excellent performance and broad feature support with flexible programmability for tomorrow's applications. This advanced 4U modular chassis switch offers up to 960 Gbps capacity with low latency, 6 half-width inline card slots, VSX Live Upgrade, and HPE Smart Rate PoE Class 8 10GbE up to 90W with BGP/OSFP/PIM support.

• High availability with HPE Aruba Networking Virtual Switching Extension (VSX) Live Upgrade, which provides high availability, fast, non-disruptive upgrades, and simplified management. This system also supports redundant power supplies and N+1 redundant fans.
• The range ensures secure networking with MACsec ¹ compatible in-line card modules , meeting professional performance and security requirements for small and medium-sized campus networks as well as branch offices.
