Overview :

The Juniper EX2300-48P-VC is an entry-level, managed Ethernet switch designed to support network access in both remote and branch offices, as well as enterprise campus networks. With hardware capabilities to act as a satellite in a Junos Fusion Enterprise deployment, it can easily combine multiple wiring closets into a unified management platform. For smaller network setups, up to four EX2300 switches can form a Virtual Chassis configuration, effectively functioning as a single unit. Its integrated ASIC-based Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) delivers wire-rate forwarding with complete control-plane functionality, ensuring reliable performance across all tasks. Additionally, with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities, it supports devices like phones, cameras, and access points, all within an energy-efficient solution that prioritizes high performance and ease of use.
