The AddOn GBM-GSX-AO is a high-performance GBIC transceiver compatible with Amer Networks GBM-GSX models. This transceiver is designed to provide reliable 1000Base-SX throughput, capable of transmitting data up to 550 meters over multi-mode fiber (MMF) using an 850nm wavelength via an SC connector. It is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with the equivalent Amer Networks transceiver, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within your existing network infrastructure.

The GBM-GSX-AO is engineered for ease of installation and use. As a hot-swappable device, it allows for quick and efficient upgrades or replacements without the need to power down your equipment, minimizing downtime and maintaining network continuity. Each transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and rigorously tested for data-traffic and application compliance, ensuring it will initialize and function identically to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) transceiver.
