The Black Box LHC212A Fast Ethernet Media Converter is designed to provide seamless conversion between Ethernet and fiber optic networks. This media converter supports Fast Ethernet speeds of up to 100 Mbps, making it an ideal solution for extending network reach and improving connectivity in various environments. By converting electrical Ethernet signals to optical signals, and vice versa, it facilitates the integration of fiber optic infrastructure with existing copper-based networks. The LHC212A enhances network flexibility and reliability, allowing users to bridge distances and upgrade network segments without significant changes to the existing infrastructure.Adapt your deployment. The LHC211A and LHC212A media converters easily convert 10/100BASE-TX to 100BASE-FX-TP-to-ST/SC/VF-45/MT-RJ. They designed with a switch controller and buffer memory that ensures two segment types connect without issue. Installation is straightforward and setup is quick. The converters can be used as a standalone unit or as a slide-on module to the 19" converter rack chassis for use in a central wiring closet.
