The Dell EMC PowerEdge R6525 Rack Server is a highly configurable, dual-socket 1U rack server that delivers outstanding balanced performance and innovations for dense compute environments to address traditional and emerging workloads and applicationsThe PowerEdge R6525 supports dual second-generation AMD EPYC processors with up to 64 cores per processor and up to 128 lanes per CPU, but it will also function with a single processor. With all 32x memory module slots loaded, it will support a maximum memory capacity of 2TB when using Registered (RDIMM) memory modules, and a maximum memory of 4TB when using Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory modules with up to 3200MT/s. The maximum processor thermal design power (TDP) supported in this configuration is 225W.AMD EPYC processors have 8x memory channels, with 2x memory modules per channel, and 12x memory module slots per CPU, for a total of 32x active memory slots between both processors. When all 32x DIMMs are populated, the Dell EMC R6525 server can support a maximum of 2TB of memory with RDIMMs and up to 4TB with LRDIMMs. The server is compatible with RDIMM, and LRDIMM memory modules, as well as 3 Dimensional Stacking (3DS) memory modules.Designed for high performance, the system can support multiple storage configurations for a variety of workloads. On the front of the chassis, 10x 2.5-inch drive bays can support the following configurations:

• 4x 3.5-inch hot-plug SAS or SATA hard disk drives
• 10x 2.5-inch hot-plug SAS/SATA/NVMe hard disk drives
• 12x 2.5-inch (10 front + 2 rear) hot-plug SAS/SATA/NVMe
