The Dell EMC PowerEdge R330 server is part of the 13th generation of the PowerEdge Family. Designed with versatility and speed in mind, the system is configured with faster DDR4 memory modules for up to 64 GB memory. It also leverages the agent-free capabilities of the embedded iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller, server deployment, configuration, and updates for a worry-free experience. The PowerEdge R330 is perfect for businesses looking for their first rack server to tackle demanding applications.At the heart of this rack server runs a single processor, but it ensures fast response times. The system can be outfitted with one of several options, the latest quad core Intel Xeon E3-1200 v6 family, or flexible dual core processor options like Intel Pentium, Intel Core i3, or Intel Celeron. The Dell R330 server adapts to changing workload conditions with a virtualization-ready server supporting Microsoft Windows Server with Hyper-V, VMware vSphere ESXi, and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization.The Dell PowerEdge R330 Server supports up to 4x 3.5-inch front access hard drives with up to 32TB storage and up to 8x 2.5-inch drives with up to 16 TB storage. It can be configured with either cold or hot-swappable components. One of the interesting features on this system is optional with up to 2x 1.8-inch SATA SSDs mounted in the optical drive bay to accelerate system boot and reboot time. It supports software RAID S130.
