Overview :

The Juniper SCBE3-MX-S Switch Control Module is designed to provide enhanced fabric performance and increased bandwidth for high-capacity line cards. With support for the ZF-based switch fabric, this module offers exceptional performance in both redundant and non-redundant configurations. In a redundant setup, it provides up to 1 Tbps of fabric bandwidth per slot, while in non-redundant configurations, it delivers 1 Tbps per slot (four fabric planes) and up to 1.5 Tbps per slot when utilizing all six fabric planes (with MPC10E line cards). Compatible with Junos 18.4R1 and later, the SCBE3-MX-S is installed vertically in the MX960 chassis and horizontally in both the MX480 and MX240 chassis, making it versatile for various network architectures.
