Overview :

The Black Box IC444A CCTV Video Balun is engineered to facilitate high-quality video transmission over twisted pair cabling, such as CAT5 or CAT6. This device effectively converts the coaxial video signal from a CCTV camera into a differential signal that can be transmitted over long distances using twisted pair wires. Supporting distances of up to 1,500 feet (457 meters), the IC444A significantly enhances installation flexibility and reduces cable clutter in surveillance setups.

  • Run color video up to 2200 feet (670.5 m) or black-and-white up to 2500 feet (762 m).
  • Eliminates bulky and expensive coax cable, so you can connect CCTV security equipment to UTP cable already installed in a building.
  • Compact enough to fit alongside a security camera, a video multiplexor, or another video device in a tight area.
  • The weather-resistant unit features BNC and screw terminal connections, a polarity identification label, and cable strain relief.
