The Fortinet FAP-241K-A is a ruggedized Wi-Fi 7 access point designed for high-performance wireless connectivity across various indoor environments. With support for up to 512 wireless clients and 24 simultaneous SSIDs, it meets the demands of complex networking setups. Its 2x2 MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies ensure efficient data transmission to multiple devices simultaneously, reducing latency and improving network capacity. Built for reliability, the FAP-241K-A operates in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C and withstands humidity levels of 5% to 90% (non-condensing). Equipped with six internal antennas, it delivers extended coverage and minimal signal dead zones. The device supports IEEE 802.11ax and 802.11be protocols, offering next-generation wireless speeds. Power over Ethernet (PoE++) support simplifies installation, while advanced security features, including multiple encryption protocols and Wireless Intrusion Prevention Systems (WIPS), enhance network protection.
